PM Oli's India visit to remove misunderstanding

Minister for Information and Communications, Sherdhan Rai has said that Prime Minister K P Sharma Oli's official visit to India will be concentrated on removing misunderstandings and normalizing the strained bilateral ties. At a news conference here Thursday, Minister Rai said the visit will focus on strengthening bilateral relations, creating a trustworthy environment for the implementation of the development projects agreed by the two countries in the past. He further said that no agreement against the national interest will be signed during the visit. Minister Rai further informed the press that PM Oli will visit China after India and agreements on bilateral trade and transit will be signed during the visit. In another context, Minister Rai, who is also the government spokesperson, said that the government was working on plan to end the power crisis within two years.



He said that preparations were underway to include the Nepali Congress and Madhes-based political parties in the government after the upcoming 13th general convention of the Nepali Congress. RSS
