Her title song of Nabirse timilai na paye timilai is considered one of the best song of her career. She first noticed by the song Kampan. Her vocal scale, pronunciation in the songs of Kampan received honor even from music critics. Her melodious voice in the remake of songs , Maitighar and Reli Khola bagara remained at the top of the chart in different countdowns. Her career has launcher in Nepali silver screen due to the song Kina udyo pankhi mana from the film Bagar. She sang song in remix genre too. In December 2009, at the 13th Close Up Hits FM Music Award function,she receptacle most of titles for Nabirse Timilai Na Paye Timilai including Best Female Vocal Performance, and Best Record of the Year. The song is her biggest hit to date as well.

Asmi Shrestha crowned Miss Nepal 2016

Asmi Shrestha won the title of Miss Nepal 2016 as she overcame other 18 contestants at the beauty pageant’s grand finale held in Kathmandu this evening.The pageant was organised by The Hidden Treasure at the DurbarMarg-based hotel de l’Annapurna.Evana Manandhar, Miss Nepal 2015, handed the crown to the new (21st) Miss Nepal Asmi Shrestha at thee grand finale. The top five finalists who made it to the last round were asked a common question by the jury. The contestants were required to write down the answer on a paper in a given time, which was later read out.The question was: Do you agree with quota reservation for women? Is it good, bad and you do not have any reservation?The contestants were asked to pick one option among three and justify the position with logical reasons. This was the question which determined the winner as Shrestha’s short and sweet answer won the hearts of jury members. Ashma KC bagged the title of Miss Fascino and Miss Athletic where as the winner Shrestha won the titles of Miss Photogenic and Miss Intellectual as well.

The Hidden Treasure Fanta Miss Nepal 2016

The Hidden Treasure Fanta Miss Nepal 2016 is scheduled to take place at Hotel Annapurna in the Capital tonight. The 19 final contestants, who have been groomed over a period of weeks, will battle it out on stage to win the coveted crown of Miss Nepal 2016, based on their wit and beauty.

This year’s rendition of the pageant has Sangita Shrestha, Jiwan Liutel, Rajendra Thapa, Ganga Jung Thapa, Laxman Humagain, Indira Joshi, Sneh Rana, Babita Basnet, Nabina Lama, Sachin Shrestha, and Asmi Rana in the panel of judges.
Among the 19 finalists, only 10 will be selected to head into the next round; the title winner of Fanta Miss Bubbly, which is based on public votes, will get a direct wildcard entry into the top 10 finalists. From the top 10, only five will be selected to contest for the winning answer from the panel of judges. Other sub-title winners will also be announced tonight at the gala event.
