North Korea condemns, rejects UN sanction

Pyongyang on Friday strongly condemned the new resolution adopted by the UN Security Council and vowed to take resolute measures afterwards to cope with it.South Korea has held a ceremony to commission military officers ahead of its biggest-ever joint drills with the US. This year, the drills include a first-ever simulated strike on North Korea, making it necessary for the South’s new officers to be prepared for the possibility of a northward invasion.
