When a Florida man walked into his backyard Tuesday afternoon to see if a stray golf ball had found its way into his swimming pool, he found something much larger -- a 9-foot alligator lying at the bottom of the pool.A Florida family was shocked when a 9-foot alligator went for a dip in their pool.

"I don't think there are any words to describe how you feel when you come home and see a 9-foot gator in your pool," the homeowner said.
