Her title song of Nabirse timilai na paye timilai is considered one of the best song of her career. Having lent her voice to popular number Anju, has sung for 18 films and more than 90 Nepali melodiuos songs both in solos. Anju competed for the Nationwide Modern Song Competition organized by Radio Nepal and own in 1998. From this she realized that she could truly aim to becoming a professional singer. She also did many stage shows. She also lent her voice in the title song of Ma timi bina marihalxu, bhun bhun bolyo bhamara of Saput, Dil yo mero dil in Kismat and so on. She got married with Manoj Raj Siwakoti, he is also very popular modern and classical singer of Nepal. They have a daughter too but they are not together they live their life sapertely. She first noticed by the song Kampan. Her vocal scale, pronunciation in the songs of Kampan received honor even from music critics. Her melodious voice in the remake of songs , Maitighar and Reli Khola bagara remained at the top of the chart in different countdowns. Her career has launcher in Nepali silver screen due to the song Kina udyo pankhi mana from the film Bagar. She sang song in remix genre too. In December 2009, at the 13th Close Up Hits FM Music Award function,she receptacle most of titles for Nabirse Timilai Na Paye Timilai including Best Female Vocal Performance, and Best Record of the Year. The song is her biggest hit to date as well.
